About the PTFA
The PTFA meets on average every 6 weeks, dependent on forthcoming events. Meetings are held at the school during the evening. Unfortunately, active PTFA members are dwindling at the moment due to work and other commitments - we really need some new faces on the committee. The more members we have the less any one person has to do as we can share the workload between us all. It is a bit of fun, so if anyone would like to come and join us, you would be made very welcome. If you would like more information please speak to Heather Palfrey or Lauren Barrow, or leave a message in the office.
Future Fundraising Events
Help Needed
We are always on the look out for prizes for raffles and sponsors for our events. If you know of any businesses or individuals who would be willing to help us, please let us know.
Thank You!
You cannot walk through the main school gate without noticing the newly erected bike shed - another is located in the KS2 playground. A big thank you to David Trotman and Pearce Construction for giving their time and effort to install the bike sheds for us. Very much appreciated!
www.schoolfunds.co.uk
Hundreds of on-line retailers are supporting www.schoolfunds.co.uk to help schools raise money. It costs you and us absolutely nothing but helps us raise extra funds, which can be spent on whatever the school wants.
There is no catch to it - all you need to do is access the required Internet shop via www.schoolfunds.co.uk. Each time you make a purchase with one of the retailers the school earns points that can then be redeemed for goods. Please pass on to friends and family and ask them to nominate us as their chosen school. If you want more information check out the schoolfunds website.
School Link
Thanks to your purchases of books via school link, we have now received over £440 rrp worth of books which have been used to supplement the school library.
